After years working as medical director for various high profile occupational medicine clinic systems, Loewenstine founded Tristate Preventive Health Consultants, LLC (TPHC). Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, TPHC provides medical directorships for public and private corporations, staffing and development services for in-house medical departments, as well as pre-travel health consultations for business travelers and the general public. In addition to being President and Medical Director of TPHC, she personally serves as National Medical Director for Givaudan Flavors and Fragrances Corporation and for AdvancePierre Foods.
Loewenstine earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, previously known as the Medical College of Ohio, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has over twenty-five years of experience in Occupational and Preventive Medicine and is a long standing member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American Academy of Family Practice, and the International Society of Travel Medicine. She is also a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
In addition, Loewenstine has received many honors throughout her career including being named to America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer Research Council of America and is published in the Leading Physicians of the World by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. In 1999, former First Lady, Barbara Bush, presented Loewenstine with the Regional Healthcare Provider "Spirit of Women" Award as the area’s first recipient. She is also one of the select few healthcare providers in the world to hold a Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health.
As an educator, Loewenstine presents the latest medical research and associated training to Emergency Response Teams and First Responders, along with presenting skilled mentoring to numerous medical residents, medical students, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners during her career.
