With over fifty five years of experience in the field of
Medicine, Dr. Vincent J. Felitti has established himself as a trusted name in
the industry. A renowned researcher sought after for his expertise in the
industry, throughout his career, Dr. Felitti has attained extensive experience
in the areas of childhood trauma, the genetic disease Hemochromatosis, and
obesity. Having carefully examined for years how adverse childhood experiences
affect adults, and a leader in health risk abatement programs, Dr. Felitti
educates audiences worldwide.
Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Felitti earned his
Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins (FACP). In his previous years, Dr. Felitti
attained his Bachelors from Dartmouth College.
To further enhance his professional development, in addition to being the
Co-principal investigator of the internationally recognized Adverse Childhood
Experiences Study, Dr. Felitti is the Founder of the Department of Preventive
Medicine for Kaiser Permanente. In his current capacity, Dr. Felitti has served
on advisory committees at the Institute of Medicine and the American
Psychiatric Association.
Having authored over 150 peer reviewed articles, under Dr. Felitti's leadership
his department provided comprehensive medical evaluations to 1.1 million
individuals, becoming the largest single-site medical evaluation facility in
the western world.
Dr. Felitti dedicates this recognition to his father and grandfather, both
being physicians.
