Mr. Handy launched his career and attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College where he studied military science and operational studies. After acceptance as an exchange student at Sogang University in South Korea, he went on to graduate from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Arts in the Political Science with minors in English and History in 1996. The military professional earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University in 2004, and obtained a certificate in Business Administration and Management from edX with Harvard University in 2023.

He is also a freelance investment writer for Medium and cryptocurrency start-ups and a freelance stock and cryptocurrency partner with Webull Financial LLC. 

With the ability to diversify his skills to most financial topics, Mr. Handy has been a cryptocurrency adviser for Sun City Investment LLC since 2017 and a real estate investor with the same company since 2004. He is a published author having written “How to Earn a Million While Serving” in 2019 and his articles have been published in several military publications, including Army Magazine; The Fort Polk Guardian; and the Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin. From 1996 to 2016, Mr. Handy served in the U.S. Army rising to the posts of Headquarters Chief of Staff and Brigade Senior Intelligence Officer.

Mr. Handy is highly revered in the financial business and has been featured twice in Money Magazine; was interviewed by both the Army Times and Morning Brew; and served as President from 2019-2022 and is now Executive Director of the Borderplex Veterans Business Administration. Mr. Handy was selected to serve as an Ambassador for entrepreneur and Shark Tank investor Daymond John to help promote his las two books, Rise and Grind and PowerShift. The professional author was recognized for many accomplishments during his time in the military, including the Meritorious Service Medal in 2016. Aside from his professional pursuits, Mr. Handy enjoys exercising; reading; watching movies; and traveling with his family while supporting local charities. He also likes to eat and visit businesses and has been the #1 Yelp representative from 2016 to today.
