Having practiced medicine for 35 years, Dr. Robert M. Licata is a well-trusted pediatrician currently owning and operating Pediatric Associates, P.C. and Pediatric Associates of Johns Creek. He established the private practice in East Cobb in 1989 and in Johns Creek in 1999, and remains dedicated to offering his general pediatrics expertise to serve his patients best. Dr. Licata served as President and Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite from 1992 to 1994 and as President of the Medical and Surgical staff in 1996. He also gained valuable experience as the Chairman of The Children's Healthcare Network Board for seven years.
In light of his academic achievements, Dr. Licata attended Emory University and graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he earned his medical degree in 1982. Furthering his medical training, he completed his pediatric internship and residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Licata remains abreast of his field's latest advancements. He serves as a board member of the Children's Care Network at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Dr. Licata lives in Roswell with his wife Niveen, and together they have five sons. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and skiing.
