ROB MOIR, PH.D. - PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Cambridge, MA/ Continental Who’s Who/- Rob Moir, Ph.D is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Environmental Services. Rob is the President and Executive Director of the Ocean River Institute.

The Ocean River Institute provides individuals and groups with specific opportunities to make a difference saving wildlife, protecting ecosystems, and practicing stewardship.  Save Fish and Fishing Communities is ORI's campaign to gain more funding for the nation’s fisheries councils when Magnuson-Steven Fisheries Management Act is reauthorized.  Save Herring and Forage Fish is a campaign to recognize blue-back herring as an endangered species and to take an ecosystem-based management approach to fish herring sustainably.

Save Our Oceans from Nitrogen Pollution is a campaign that addresses the worst pollutant of oceans. Nitrogen feeds harmful algal blooms that cause fish kills and ocean dead zones. Together We Can Better Manage Oceans is a collaborative effort to engage, educate and broad constituencies supportive of comprehensive management of ocean waters. ORI's newest campaign is to establish the Cape Cod Right Whale National Marine Sanctuary.
