San Francisco, CA – Rhonda Gallegos, Master Barber is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Trusted Barber for his exceptional skills and customer service at People’s Barber.

In his current role, he offers haircutting, hair dying, straight-razor shaves, and other services to his range of customers of all genders at People’s Barber. As a Master Barber with 34 years of experience in the barbering profession, Mr. Gallegos’s exceptional skills and eye for aesthetics are highly sought-after. People’s Barber has an old fashioned atmosphere, and provides straight-razor shaves, hot towels, soothing lotions, and relaxing ointments as part of a relaxing 30-40 minute process. He believes that “being a barber in today’s world is amazing.”

Inspired by his mother, Mr. Gallegos began barbering even as he raised four young children. While it was a demanding schedule, Mr. Gallegos loved making his clients feel confident and proud of their haircuts. His passion for barbering is infectious: he taught the beauty parlor’s employees next door to cut men’s hair. People’s Barber currently offers four California locations, located in Oakland, Polk Street, Valencia Street, and Townsend Street. Operating out of the Townsend location, Ms. Gallegos plans to expand his practice in the future.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, People’s Barber prides themselves on providing haircuts with safety precautions, such as wearing masks and limiting shop capacity to protect their clients while crafting beautiful haircuts. They accept new clients ages four and older, by appointment or walk-in.

Mr. Gallegos’s philosophy is to “Be the best version of yourself, and never stop learning.” In his free time, he loves to spend time with his four children and five grandchildren. He organizes team outings and plans to expand his business in the future.
