Amassing over ten years of
experience in the field of consulting management, throughout his career Smith
has gained expertise in bringing in emerging startup companies into the market
through his extensive leadership. Experienced in oil, gas, facial recognition, and
security, Smith has specialized in Crisis Management, Strategic Negotiations, Operations
Management, Government, and Emergency Management.
Throughout the course of his education and training, Smith attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Old Dominion University. Later, he attained his Master of Science degree in Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma. Having served for twenty seven years as a Veteran for the United States Army, Smith has held the role of Lieutenant Colonel and served in Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, and Kosovo.
To further his professional
development, Smith is an affiliate of several organizations including the
Veterans of Foreign Wars organization. A regular volunteer and contributor to
YMCA and the Diabetes Foundation, Smith is an active participant in Project
Kabul which organizes teams to build schools for girls in Kabul. Established in
2010, the organization hosts over ten thousand students.
In recognition of his professional accolades, Smith was the recipient of numerous Meritorious Service Medals. Additionally, Smith was a 3-time Bronze Star Medal recipient.
