Dr. Morrissey grew up in Kensington, Connecticut. He

Morrissey started with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of the
Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. He then attended Georgetown University School of
Medicine, where he graduated with his Medical degree. Dr. Morrissey continued
his training with an internship and residency in General Surgery at Methodist
Dallas Medical Center. Dedicated to his country, Dr. Morrissey served in the

As a result of his years of training,
Dr. Morrissey is board certified in Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery
by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The goal of the American Board
of Plastic Surgery is to promote safe plastic surgery practices and maintain
high standards of patient care.
He currently works alongside Dr. Robert Wilcox, a seasoned gynecomastia surgeon
who is renowned for leaving minimal chest scarring after the surgery. Dr.
Morrissey and Dr. Wilcox opened their 11,000 square foot facility to create two
surgical suites that meet stringent federal standards. Located in Plano, TX,
the physicians, licensed pharmacists, and nurses at the Plastic & Cosmetic
Surgery Center of Texas have access to state-of-the-art equipment and
high-quality air filtration and sterilization standards for their procedures.
Dr. Morrissey believes that every patient should feel completely comfortable with
their medical environment, and maintains a state-licensed practice that
complies with all Texas Department of Health standards.
At the Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas, Dr. Morrissey has
performed hundreds of plastic surgeries and reconstructive surgeries. The
practice is one of only three in the area that performs gynecomastia surgery
(male breast reduction), which is Dr. Wilcox’s specialty - he has performed
over 1,000 of these surgeries. The duo also provides skincare alongside a wide
range of cosmetic surgeries and reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Morrissey values aesthetics in all aspects of his work, and loves to see
people who are thrilled with their results and feel confident in their looks.
Generally, he performs reconstructive surgeries and cosmetic surgeries for the
face and body. This includes his specialties: breast enhancements, tummy tucks,
liposuction, and “mommy makeovers.” Dr. Morrissey also performs surgery at the
Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, and Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
To remain abreast of developments in the field, he is a member of the American
Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Dallas Medical Society, and the Texas Society
of Plastic Surgeons. He continues to regularly take plastic surgery and
cosmetic surgery courses and seminars to stay aware of new techniques and
advances, and recently took Aesthetic Surgery Courses in Miami and San
Francisco.
On a personal note, Dr. Morrissey loves to spend time with his wife Michele,
two children Madison and Jack, and their yellow lab Lily. He stays involved
with his community by volunteering with Youth Athletics at his children’s
school.
