
Hialeah, FL-Melisande Lourdes Balleste is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medical Billing to which she is transitioning from mental health.
With over a decade’s worth of experience, Melisande Lourdes Balleste is revered for her outstanding contributions to the industry. Balleste has conducted Individual Therapy, Group Therapy and Family Therapy in outpatient treatment, day treatment and community base setting.
Currently completed her continuing education classes for her Medical Coding and
Billing Certification which she obtained from Barry University and is license
(CBCS) until 2019 from National Healthcareer Association. Balleste also completed
her Certification as an Electronics Health Specialist from Florida
International University. She is currently working towards her License in
Electronic Health Records (CEHRS) from also National Healthcareer Association.
Additionally, Balleste earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling
from St. Thomas University in 2005, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communication Arts in 1997. She also received her Graduate Certificate in Loss
and Healing in 2011.
To further enhance her professional development, Balleste is an esteemed member
of several elite organizations including the National Association of
Professional Women of which she has been a VIP member since 2016, and the
Association for Counselors and Educators in Government.
Charitable to various organizations, Balleste is currently involved with AAPC,
American Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society, and Delta Phi
Epsilon. She is passionate about organizations such as the USO, American Cancer
Society, Stand Up To Cancer, Stupid Cancer, and Metavivor. She is also
interested in Young Survivor Coalition and BCRF.
When she is not working, Balleste enjoys watching movies, Ballet, Theater,
reading books and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Balleste dedicates this recognition to her family, especially her parents who
are her biggest supporters. She does not know what she would do without them,
especially during her cancer treatments back in 2015. She is now a three year
Breast Cancer Survivor.
