Kiran P. Sahota, RN, CLNC, is a dedicated nurse educator, legal nurse consultant, and advocate for medical education. As the owner of Alpha First Medical Academy, she plays a vital role in teaching and mentoring the next generation of nurses, providing both didactic instruction and hands-on clinical training. Her commitment to growing the medical community is reflected in her passion for mentorship, education, and healthcare excellence.
Ms. Sahota is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) by the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC) and works closely with attorneys in evaluating medical cases. She leverages her expertise in skilled nursing and gerontology to provide comprehensive medical evaluations and expert testimony, bridging the gap between healthcare and the legal field.
Her academic journey includes earning both a BSN and MSN from Chamberlain University, where she is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), with an expected graduation in 2027. Before founding Alpha First Medical Academy, Ms. Sahota served as Director of Nursing for a skilled nursing facility, further solidifying her expertise in patient care, clinical leadership, and healthcare management.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Sahota remains deeply engaged in community service. She regularly volunteers with her children’s school and contributes to the North Bay Sikh Foundation, where she participates in food distribution and community outreach initiatives.
Ms. Sahota attributes much of her success to the unwavering support of her family. In loving memory of her grandfather, Tarsem Sahota, she expresses gratitude to her parents, Daya and Jeet Sahota, and her entire family for their encouragement and support.
Looking to the future, Ms. Sahota aims to expand her influence in both medical education and legal consulting, continuing to mentor, educate, and empower aspiring nurses.
