San Francisco, CA/ Continental Who’s Who/- Kathy Jacobson is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional as a result of over 20 Years of Excellence in the fields of Life Coaching and Consulting.
The wisdom Kathy offers is a savory blend of humanness, humor and compassion. Trained in a number of diverse modalities-psychological, spiritual and physical-as well as seat-of-her-pants experience, she inspires, guides and empowers. Using mindfulness, curiosity, compassion, humor and love, Kathy helps clients gain confidence and faith in themselves. This enhances their ability to develop more meaningful relationships, learn effective communication skills (including active listening), gain clarity on who they are, what they want and where they’re going-and how to live a joyful and meaningful life.
Kathy comments: “My life is great; I’m a really happy person. Over the years, I’ve learned that what I feel and focus on, I can manifest, so I teach clients to do the same. Gaining an understanding of how to tap into emotional intelligence and the wisdom of the body are key in my practice. I help people understand that they come first in their lives-how to be self-loving. You have to have a healthy relationship with yourself before you can have one with anyone else, after all. I also believe that we are spiritual beings in a physical body, so I draw deeply on that belief in my practice. The ultimate satisfaction for me is to watch my clients grow, blossom and expand their horizons.”
A unique specialty of Kathy’s is End-of-Life Coaching http://kathyljacobson.com/end-of-life-coaching Because end of life issues are intense and often scary, she can make them less so. She brings hope, love, possibilities and positivity to this passage. She conjectures, “What if leaving this physical body wasn’t a bad thing? What if it could be viewed as a good thing? What if all the things we’ve feared are only that, things that are not real? I provide a safe place to talk about whatever is on your mind or in your heart. There is great healing and love that can happen in these times. We often wait for “the right time” to say how we feel. I believe that now is the right time and I will guide you through the process.” She can work with individuals facing end-of-life, mates, family and/or friends.
Kathy’s extensive trainings include the Hakomi method and other somatic modalities, Voice Dialogue, Reiki energetic healing, Transformational Bodywork and shamanism. She co-facilitates groups, workshops and retreats. Based in San Francisco, she shares a 19th century Victorian with two cats and her partner. She has extensively traveled the world and plans to keep doing so. In closing, Kathy states, “And it just gets better and better.”
