
New York, NY- Kathy S. Hudgins is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as Nurse of the Year for her excellent work at University Hospital.
With over 25 years of experience in the nursing field and
having served 18 years in her current position, Ms. Hudgins specializes in
cardiac nursing and acute care. Starting her profession in coding, Ms. Hudgins
later worked at a long term care facility doing acute care; “I loved it and
never looked back”, she proclaims. As to
what she attributes her success to, Ms. Hudgins states, “What separates me from
others in the field is my level of experience.”
Throughout her education and training, Dr. Hudgins received an Associate’s
degree in Business and became an RN after completing her education at Lorain
County Community College.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling, especially to Aruba, and rooting for
the Cleveland Browns.
Kathy dedicates this recognition to “my charge nurse, Susan Markland, RN who
took me under her wing.” She also dedicates this to “Dorothy Porto, RN who
taught me the ropes.”
