Dr. Guthrie, an accomplished family physician renowned for her dedication to patient care and extensive expertise, has been honored for her contributions to the field of healthcare. Dr. Guthrie currently practices at the Allina Health United Family Physicians Clinic in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The clinic's mission is to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, which includes vital services such as mental health and addiction services, obstetrics, prenatal care, and geriatric care. Dr. Guthrie's expertise aligns seamlessly with the clinic's objectives, making her a valuable asset to the community.

Dr. Guthrie has played a crucial role in the training and mentorship of family medicine residents as part of the Allina Health United Family Medicine Residency for the past 30 years.  Her clinical practice encompasses a wide spectrum of medical care, including the management of long-standing medical conditions, chronic and acute health issues, obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN), office surgery, and the treatment of complex medical problems. Prior to joining the residency faculty, she spent 14 years in small town rural practice in Minnesota. 

Dr. Guthrie embarked on her remarkable journey with a Bachelor's degree in comparative literature from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Her commitment to excellence led her to graduate with distinction from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she stood at the top of her class. She continued her pursuit of medical excellence through her residency in family medicine at St. Paul Ramsey/Regions Hospital.

Dr. Guthrie is board certified in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), signifying her comprehensive expertise in delivering top-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages.

Dr. Guthrie's affiliations with esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians, MN Academy of Family Physicians Research and Innovation Committee,  the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and NAPCRG demonstrate her unwavering commitment to advancing medical education, research, and best practices.

Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr. Guthrie enjoys a rich array of interests, including singing, flute,  the simple pleasures of walking, and the exploration of the great outdoors.
