In his current role, Joshua provides auditing and accounting advisory services to life insurance, health insurance and property and casualty insurance entities, ranging from multi-national to private insurance companies on both a GAAP and statutory basis. In addition, Joshua deals with complex accounting matters including accounting for investments in subsidiaries, controlled and affiliated entities, life and health and P&C reinsurance accounting. He also works in the area of admitted/non-admitted asset determination for statutory reporting, and impairments of investments. Furthermore, Joshua is responsible for maintaining relationships with state insurance regulators with respect to accounting and financial reporting matters and periodic insurance department examinations.
Joshua is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and earned his Masters of Accounting Degree from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
