A volunteer mediator with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, John is one of the Founding Board Members for the Loyola Law School Immigrant Justice Clinic and is currently on the Board of Directors with Loyola High School of Los Angeles. An alumni of the high school, John is also the Chairman of Loyola High School’s Sesquicentennial celebration committee and was given the Cahalan Award as an alumnus of the school.

Consecutively ranked in Southern California SuperLawyers by Los Angeles Magazine every year since 2006, John is the President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Football Foundation, Co-Chair of the Advisory Board of Loyola Productions, Inc. and a Board Secretary of the Pacific Institute for Community Organization. He is also on the board for the Save the Children Action Network.

Beginning his educational career with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, John went on to complete his JD from Loyola Law School.
