James F. (Jim) Morgan
JAMES F. (JIM) MORGAN - MANAGING PARTNER
High Point, NC — James F. Morgan is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Life Achiever
in Law 2022/2023 in the Law and Legal Services fields and in acknowledgment
of his work with the law firm of Morgan, Herring, Morgan, Green &
Rosenblutt LLP.
Mr. Morgan attended Guilford College and
received a Bachelor of Arts in 1966. He concluded his studies with a Doctor of
Jurisprudence from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1969.
He was later admitted to practice law in the state of North Carolina as a
member of the North Carolina Bar Association and also the United States
District for the Middle District of North Carolina.
Mr. Morgan has practiced in law for more than 53 years and specializes in
estate planning and administration law. He has most recently been named as the
managing partner and attorney at law with the Morgan, Herring, Green &
Rosenblutt, LLP. Mr. Morgan is responsible for handling cases regarding civil
litigation, criminal defense, real estate, bankruptcy, estate planning, and
personal injury.
Mr. Morgan became involved in his profession because his father was an attorney
and encouraged him to do the same. A pinnacle of Mr. Morgan’s career was
serving as president of the High Point Jaycees, which was a leadership training
organization for young men. Mr. Morgan has been the recipient of numerous
honors in the field including the Professional of the Year for Outstanding
Achievement in the Field of Law, the Star Award from the High Point Arts
Council, and the Philanthropist of the Year from the Association of Fundraising
Professionals, among other accolades.
Mr. Morgan has chaired more than 75 charitable organizations throughout his
career. He plans to continue working in the full-service practice, assisting
clients at reasonable prices. While he may choose to slow down in the future,
he enjoys the work he does with his community. Mr. Morgan is active as the
chairman of the High Point Community Foundation.
