Mr. Ismail pursued higher education at SVSU where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics. He then attended RPI where he completed a Master's Degree in Engineering Science focused on Manufacturing Management. 

Currently serving as Director of Operations at Spiers New Technologies/Cox Automotive for more than a year, Mr. Ismail has worked in automotive manufacturing for more than 25 years at different assignments in the US, UAE, and China. During the last 12 years, he has launched EV Battery Assembly Lines, and has recently started leading a team to work on battery lifecycle management.

Mr. Ismail is considered an expert in EV Battery Management and works in the High Voltage EV Batteries and Automotive Manufacturing Business, which includes storage and distribution, in addition to Warranty Rejects Root Cause Analysis; High Voltage EV Batteries Lifecycle Management; and Repair, Remanufacturing, Reuse, and Recycle.

A leader in the field, Mr. Ismail has received many internal awards through his company and works with various mentors across the Manufacturing Industry. He is multilingual and considers his success in the business since moving to the United States from a small town in Lebanon as a highlight of his career.  He is affiliated with ASQ and enjoys reading his favorite publication, WSJ, to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the field. 

Aside from his professional pursuits, Mr. Ismail enjoys playing and coaching soccer and vacationing in Beirut, Lebanon. He asserts that he is most proud of raising 3 successful children, with whom he maintains a very close relationship, and enjoys spending time with his wife and five grandchildren. He would like to thank his friends and family for all of their support.
