Camden, AR/ Continental Who’s Who/- Heather Knowles is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Aerospace and Defense. Heather is an EHS Generalist: Safety Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Camden Arkansas facility.
In business for over one hundred years, Aerojet Rocketdyne is a leading manufacturer of rocket, missile propulsion, and energetics for various space and strategic and tactical missile defense systems across the globe.
A Registered Safety Officer, Associate Safety and Health Manager and OSHA Specialist in Safety and Health, Heather’s areas of concentration include explosives safety, safety program management, ergonomics, training and compliance, emergency management, technical policy writing, and more.
Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Member, Heather maintains affiliation with the American Society of Safety Engineers and has volunteered with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life events for the past seven years. Heather has also been an American Heart Association Basic Life Support trainer for three years and is the current Vice President of Education in the RocketMaster’s Toastmaster International club.
Heather graduated Cum Laude from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with her Bachelor’s in Aviation Management and Occupational Safety and Health after serving in the United States Navy. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University.
Looking into the future, Heather is working towards Certified Safety Professional and Certified Safety and Health Manager certifications and would like to do consulting work or teaching, as well as sharing her wealth of knowledge and expertise in public speaking for keynote events.
