Oklahoma City, OK – Garvin A. Isaacs, Jr. is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Attorney for his role as owner and sole practitioner at Garvin A. Isaacs, Inc.
Garvin A. Isaacs Inc. is a one-man operation providing
services to those living in the Oklahoma and New Mexico areas. Founded in 1980
by Mr. Isaacs, the firm specializes in Criminal and Civil Law where cases of individuals,
who have been wrongfully accused, wholly or partially, are the focal point of
practice. The firm’s background, however, expands far beyond those fields. Mr.
Isaacs has tried a wide variety of civil cases involving negligence, products
liability, conversion, medical malpractice, wrongful termination, probate, oil
and gas surface damages, take-or-pay, and breach of contract.
Mr. Isaacs has assembled a significant portfolio over his 45 years of rigorous
work in the courts, but perhaps the most significant success of his career came
from his work on the 1979 case of Gene Leroy Hart, a man accused of the rape
and murder of three young girls. The three victims, members of the Oklahoma
Girl Scouts, were found dead and Hart was named suspect. By thorough
examination of hard facts pertaining to the case and sustaining the
questionable doubt throughout the three-month trial, Mr. Isaacs was able to
have Mr. Hart acquitted. Later, he has also represented persons charged with
drug defenses, including Guido Leon of Miami Florida in 1982, who was accused
of conspiring to smuggle a planeload of marijuana from Columbia into the United
States.
The foundation of Mr. Isaacs’s education began while attending Texan Christian
University where he earned his Bachelor of the Arts degree in 1967. He
continued his legal education at the Oklahoma City University School of Law,
where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1974.
Mr. Isaacs is an accepted member of the Oklahoma Bar Association as of 1974,
and the New Mexico Bar Association as of 1987. He is a lifetime member of the
National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a current member of the
Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association where is he currently serving on
the Board of Directors. He served as President of the Oklahoma Bar Association
in 2016.
In his free time, Mr.
Isaacs enjoys to spend time exercising creativity in the fine arts.
