Tupper Lake, NY - Frank J. Nocilla, MD, FAAIM, FAADM, is
being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Pinnacle Internist and Owner
in the Medical field and in acknowledgment of his work in private practice.
Frank J. Nocilla, MD, FAAIM, FAADM, is a
respected Internist working at REVA and private practice. He has over 25 years
of experience and has recently opened his own private practice in 2021 in
Elmira, NY.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. He next
attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, graduating with
a Medical degree in 1991. Dr. Nocilla furthered his training during an Internal
Medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in 1994. He is board-certified in Internal
Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
As a proud US Veteran, Dr. Nocilla dedicated 13 years to the United States Air
Force as a Flight Surgeon, where he was involved with Operation Desert Storm.
He achieved the rank of Major and was a member of the Critical Care Air
Transport Team.
Today, Dr. Nocilla sees patients in his new private practice, founded in 2021.
He treats patients for diabetes and hypertension and sees patients for urgent
care treatment. He encourages his patients to attend regular checkups to
maintain their health throughout their lives.
In other areas of his work, Dr. Nocilla works for REVA. The organization
provides air transport globally for emergency medical services. The doctor is a
member of the Disaster Emergency Medical Team through the Department of Health
and Human Services.
Remaining involved in his specialty, Dr. Nocilla is a member of the Society of
Flight Surgeons, the American Association of Physician Specialists, and the
Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is also Diplomate of the American Board
of Physician Specialties, a Fellow of the American Academy of Integrative
Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Disaster Medicine. He is a
volunteer paramedic with Tupper Lake Rescue Service and a volunteer firefighter
with the Corinth Fire Department.
