DR. LARRY S. SANDERS - CHAIRMAN & CEO

Conescon, Ontario, Canada - Larry S. Sanders, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Mental Health field.
 
Dr. Sanders serves as the Chairman and CEO of Bayfield Treatment Centres. He has spent 29 years in his current position, and brings over 40 years of career experience, as well as expertise in leadership of all programs, strategic planning, chair senior management and working with shareholders, to his role.

"At Bayfield, we create relationships of enduring value and respect with our children and youth, as well as our staff and agencies with whom we partner in our efforts to make a significant difference," the facility’s website states. "Bayfield's main campus is a rural treatment facility for children and youth. Our programs offer care and treatment for boys and girls experiencing difficulties such as conduct disorder, psychiatric disorders and attention deficit disorder."

In addition to his work at Bayfield Treatment Centres, Dr. Sanders has taught at the university level, maintains a small, private practice, and serves as a research affiliate at Ryerson University.

Dr. Sanders earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with HBA honors, from the University of Manitoba. He then went on to complete his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Lakehead University; and a second Master of Arts degree in Organizational Development from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California. He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems.
 
To further his professional development, Dr. Sanders is a member of the American Ortho Psychiatric Association; the Canadian Mental Health Association; the American Psychological Association; the Canadian Psychological Association; and the Ontario Association of Residence Treating Youth.
