Dr. Sisler has over fifty years of experience in the field of Oculoplastic Surgery and specializes in Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery for Injuries to the Eye. Currently, he is "semi-retired" and subspecializes in Oculoplastics, Lacrimology, and Orbitology. Although he may be “semi-retired”, Dr. Sisler has another passion that keeps him busy- his role as a Professional Organist.
Dr. Sisler has been playing the organ for far longer than he has been an Ophthalmologist. His talent became evident at the age of 5 and he was only 11 years old when he had his first job playing for Sunday services at his church. Incredibly, Dr. Sisler, like his grandmother before him, learned to play the organ entirely by ear, and learned to read music due to the encouragement of his mother. As his career as an organist developed, Dr. Sisler became the youngest ever fellow of the American Guild of Organists at age 17 and also achieved the Trinity College of London´s Licentiate Teacher of Organ and Related Subjects Diploma with honors.
In addition to playing music, Dr. Sisler is an accomplished composer. He composes classical music for choir, organ, instruments, concert band, and symphony orchestra.
