Ms. Lettau's legal career began in the late 1980s when she worked as a research assistant at the University of Kiel’s Institute of International Law in Germany. Since then, her experience has spanned private legal practice, trust management, and leadership in strategic initiatives. Her previous roles include Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at National Care Advisors, Vice President of Advancement at Secured Futures, and Senior Trust and Fiduciary Specialist at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Throughout her career, she has also served as a legal liaison, counsel, and educator, both in the U.S. and abroad.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Lettau earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pacific Lutheran University in 1982 and her Juris Doctor from Seattle University in 1987. She has since been admitted to practice by the Florida Bar and D.C. Bar associations.
