Denise furthers her professional knowledge through her affiliation with The Institute of Corporate Directors, WomenOnBoard, and The International Women’s forum (IWF). She has also been the recipient of numerous honors and awards during her impressive career, including a Woman of Distinction Award from YMCA. Denise has twice been Named One of Alberta’s 50 most Influential People by Alberta Venture Magazine, and was honored by Global TV as a Woman of Vision.

She is also a Graduate of the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors Program, and accredited in Public Relations from the Canadian Public Relations Society.
