Dr Miranda began her educational journey at the
University of California, Davis where she earned Bachelor of Science degrees in
Physiology and Psychology. She continued this path at the University of Southern
California, Keck School of Medicine where she graduated with a Medical degree
in 2021. Capping her education and higher-education training in 2005, Dr.
Miranda completed her residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia
University, a Top 10 residency program for Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she
was chief resident. She is currently affiliated with South Miami Hospital and
has more than 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
A testament to her professionalism and excellence, the doctor was selected as a
Top Obstetrician and Gynecologist in South Miami, Florida, and was featured in
the 2012 edition of the Leading Physicians of the World. She was also selected
as a Top OBGYN in 2022 by FindaTopDoc.com. She notes that “Being an Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Known for her exceptional bedside manner, Dr. Miranda has two offices in South
Miami. She asserts that her patients recognize that she takes time to listen to
questions and concerns and never feel rushed. The doctor explained that
obstetricians and gynecologists are physicians who possess special knowledge,
skills, and professional capability in the medical and surgical care of women
related to pregnancy and disorders of the female reproductive system. She is
certified as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists (FACOG) and is board certified by the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
In her spare time, Dr. Miranda enjoys dining out, traveling, meditation,
exercise, and spending time with her family. She would like to dedicate this
honor to her dear husband, Dr. Andres Orjuela, an esteemed Otolaryngologist,
