Ms. Andersen is an arts entrepreneur, conductor, collaborative pianist, and community leader whose work centers on making music accessible, engaging, and meaningful. Based in Idaho Falls, Idaho, she has dedicated more than three decades to connecting people through collaborative performance, conducting, arts leadership, and music education across Southeast Idaho.

Recognized for expertise in opera and collaborative performance, Ms. Andersen’s practice spans conducting; collaborative piano for opera and choral ensembles; worship music planning and guest-artist coordination; community concert programming; and arts education and youth chorus accompaniment. Embracing the role of the collaborative pianist—often called “the orchestra before the orchestra arrives”—she champions the ensemble spirit that supports singers, choirs, and community ensembles.

As Music Coordinator at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ms. Andersen plans worship music, coordinates guest artists, and helps present free community concerts. She also serves as the collaborative pianist for the East Idaho Youth Chorus, where she supports music literacy and encourages young musicians.

Her community leadership includes having conducted the Community Orchestra at Firth, uniting musicians of varied backgrounds to celebrate American music, community traditions, and military service. Ms. Andersen also serves on the Board of Directors as Music Director and Publicity Chairman for Idaho Falls Opera Theatre, helping guide one of Southeast Idaho’s longest-standing nonprofit arts organizations.

Outside the arts, Ms. Andersen works in Industry Engagement and Business Support at Idaho National Laboratory, coordinating executive-level visitor experiences and strategic events. She is Chair of the Idaho Chapter of Women in Nuclear, a member of The Village Improvement Society, continuing a legacy of civic service and community improvement. Her membership service also includes the ldaho Falls Music Club as a piano teacher to help shape the musicians of the future in south East Idaho. Her most recent leadership appointment has been with the Board of Directors with VIEW, Vision for an Inclusive Engineering Workforce, representing Idaho National Laboratory.

In 2026, Ms. Andersen was appointed Classic Miss Idaho with the Miss United Crown of America organization in recognition of her leadership, community service, and commitment to arts advocacy. She is known for dependability, a collaborative spirit, and servant leadership.

Ms. Andersen earned a Bachelor of Science in Music from Brigham Young University–Idaho with concentrations in Humanities and Dance and is completing a Master of Business Administration through Western Governors University. She acknowledges Dr. Chris Foley among her mentors and credits decades of collaborative performance and arts education work in Southeast Idaho as foundational to her approach.

Guided by the belief that the arts enrich communities, strengthen relationships, and foster connection, service, and personal growth, Ms. Andersen aims to complete her MBA and continue advancing arts advocacy. She remains focused on promoting arts education and community engagement while building connections through music throughout Southeast Idaho.
