New York, NY - Aaron B. Safier, AWMA®, LUTCF, MBA, is
being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Lifetime
Achiever for his dedicated work in the field of Wealth Management
and in recognition of his work as the Founder and CEO of Sapphire Wealth
Advisory Group.
With 16 years of experience in the financial industry,
Mr Safier is a seasoned Financial Planner with a long track record of success.
He began his career at M&T Bank, where he aided customers with their
commercial and personal banking needs. In 2007, he began a position at Smith
Barney (now part of Morgan Stanley), where he collaborated with a team of
Financial Advisors, assisting them in customizing and managing their clients’
investment portfolios. Mr. Safier gained experience researching fund managers,
rebalancing investment portfolios, and creating investment model simulations
for clients. In 2011, he became a Special Care Financial Planner at Barnum
Financial Group, providing investment and risk management products across the
USA. Through these early experiences, he realized that he had a passion for
helping clients create a secure financial future.
In 2018, Mr. Safier took the opportunity to begin a
Financial Advisory practice, Sapphire Wealth Advisory Group (“SWAG”), located
at 2 Park Ave Suite 300 in the heart of New York City. With tireless
perseverance and drive, he has grown his business exponentially, working
closely with clients throughout the United States.
Mr. Safier began his education with a Bachelor’s degree
from Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business. He also holds a Master’s
degree in finance from Iona College, Hagan School of Business. While he
understands the value of education, Mr. Safier also considers himself a student
of the industry. He has achieved accreditation for both the Accredited Wealth
Management Advisor (AWMA®) and the Life Underwriter Training Counselor Fellow
(LUTCF).
Getting to know each client, Mr. Safier treats every
financial plan with individual attention. He understands that not every
strategy will work for every person, and enjoys learning about their unique
stories and outlooks for their hopes and goals for their financial futures. As
a lifelong learner, Mr. Safier values knowledge, and spends his free time
reading articles, books, and economic literature to educate himself
further.
When beginning a new relationship with a client, Mr.
Safier values face-to-face meetings so he can understand their goals and
objectives. He researches their financial background and asks questions to
begin the planning process. Then, he creates a custom report illustrating the
findings and his personalized solutions, and maps out the best course of
action. To reassure his clients, Mr. Safier monitors their finances every step
of the way through periodic reviews and one-on-one meetings.
Sapphire Wealth Advisory Group provides the full range of
financial service options for high-net-worth families, business owners, and
individuals. Mr. Safier and his team form long-term plans for every person,
with exceptional results. Striving to provide a compassionate environment for
all clientele, he views himself as a “financial therapist,” who can rectify
financial discrepancies and discuss matters that impact the client’s
wellbeing.
Clients come to Sapphire Wealth Advisory Group with many different
goals for their finances. Mr. Safier has guided clients who want to ensure
their portfolios are properly diversified, leaving them with a solid investment
plan for the future that can stand the ups and downs of the stock market. Other

associates personally manage their investments through a mix of analytics and
skill. Some clients strive to leave a legacy for their children or for
non-profit groups, and knowing their finances are well managed can provide
priceless peace of mind. As the CEO and Founder of Sapphire Wealth Advisory
Group, Mr. Safier has helped design plans that allow clients to retire
comfortably without worrying about their fiscal wellbeing.
Outside of his job as CEO, Mr. Safier has appeared on
television to discuss the aspects of planning for families who have special
needs children. He is a frequent guest speaker who gives talks on financial
literacy and other topics at corporations, non-profit organizations, and
hospitals. Mr. Safier is a proud alumnus of his high school, and often provides
financial literacy workshops to seniors who are about to graduate, giving them
a new perspective on personal finance matters. His philosophy on life is, “In
order to get where you want to be, you just need to take the first step.”
On a personal note, Mr. Safier enjoys spending time with
his wife Pnina and their two children, Judah and Sophie. His hobbies include
playing sports, running, hiking, reading about finance, and
weightlifting. He is also an avid car enthusiast, and has plans to one day
build a car of his own.
