Dr. Marshall also obtained a Master's of Public Health from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Roseda E. Marshall retired from medical practice in 2021 after nearly five decades of service in the public and private sectors. She also served as the first President and Chairperson of the Post-Graduate Medical Council for the Liberian College of Physicians and Surgeons, founded in 2013 by Liberia's National Legislature.

According to Dr. Marshal, she may have retired from clinical and academic medicine, but she asserts that she is certainly not tired of work or serving others. She continues to remain busy in various overseas charitable roles, including serving as president of the non-profit humanitarian organization, Women Organized Resources for Liberia Development Inc. In 2021, WORLD, Inc. broke ground on a learning and development center for children in grades K-12 in the Township of Virginia, Montserrado County, Liberia. "We want to build citizens who will be able to make the change that we want in Liberia," Dr. Marshall stated at the ground-breaking ceremony.

Dr. Marshall asserts that she loves spending time with her family and volunteering to serve others in her free time. She wishes to dedicate this recognition to the loving memory of her dear father, Dr. Robert C.D. Marshall, and her mentors, Drs. Copper and Deangelis. She also wishes to acknowledge her daughters, Dr. Aminatu Shehu and Rocheline E. Marshall, and her late mother, Mrs. Rachel E. Marshall, for their love and support.
