Roseda E. Marshall, MD, MPH, FAAP, FWAP, FLCPS, is acknowledged as a Top
Pinnacle Professional for her contributions to the Medical Field.
Dr. Marshall obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Tuskegee University. She earned a Medical Degree from Makerere University
School of Medicine in Kampala, Uganda in 1974, and completed her medical
residency in Liberia, Great Britain, and the United States. Dr. Marshall also
obtained a Master's of Public Health from John Hopkins University in Baltimore,
MD. She is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Roseda E. Marshall retired from medical practice in 2021 after nearly five
decades of service in the public and private sectors. Dr. Marshall was
affiliated with MedStar Physicians, based in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Marshall
authored multiple scholarly works and reported on various public health-related
research studies regarding pediatric and public health, including in the
African nation of Liberia. She also served as the first President and
Chairperson of the Post-Graduate Medical Council for the Liberian College of
Physicians and Surgeons, founded in 2013 by Liberia's National Legislature.
According to Dr. Marshal, she may have retired from clinical and academic
medicine, but she asserts that she is certainly not tired of work or serving
others. She continues to remain busy in various overseas charitable roles,
including serving as president of the non-profit humanitarian organization,
Women Organized Resources for Liberia Development Inc. In 2021, WORLD, Inc.
broke ground on a learning and development center for children in grades K-12
in the Township of Virginia, Montserrado County, Liberia. "We want to
build citizens who will be able to make the change that we want in
Liberia," Dr. Marshall stated at the ground-breaking ceremony.
Dr. Marshall asserts that she loves spending time with her family and
volunteering to serve others in her free time. She wishes to dedicate this
recognition to the loving memory of her dear father, Dr. Robert C.D. Marshall,
and her mentors, Drs. Copper and Deangelis. She also wishes to acknowledge her
daughters, Dr. Aminatu Shehu and Rocheline E. Marshall, and her late mother,
Mrs. Rachel E. Marshall, for their love and support.
