MaryLynn Ireland has built a meaningful career in nonprofit leadership, dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the New England and Northeast regions. Through her work, she focuses on strengthening organizational strategy while fostering a culture centered on compassion, accessibility, and community support.

Ms. Ireland is recognized for her leadership style, which emphasizes open communication and a strong commitment to the people she serves and the teams she leads. She maintains an open door policy, ensuring that employees feel heard and supported while addressing concerns with care and attention. Her approach reflects her belief that people are the most valuable asset within any organization.

Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in Health Psychology from Capella University. She has also completed advanced certifications through institutions including Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and Stanford, further strengthening her expertise in leadership, strategy, and organizational development.

Ms. Ireland remains actively engaged in her community through several board positions. She serves as a board member for the Association of Developmental Disability Providers, the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Urban League of Greater Springfield, and the Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation. These roles reflect her ongoing commitment to community advancement and advocacy.

With four years in her current leadership role and prior experience as Chief Operating Officer of Providence Ministry Corporation, Ms. Ireland brings a strong foundation in nonprofit operations and strategic planning. Her work continues to focus on improving services and creating opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Ireland enjoys snowshoeing, bowling, reading, crafting, and baking. She values time spent with her family, including her three children and two grandchildren, most recently welcoming a grandson.

Looking ahead, Ms. Ireland plans to transition from her current day to day leadership responsibilities into an interim executive role, where she can continue to provide guidance and support during organizational transitions. Guided by a philosophy that places family first and values people above all, she remains committed to making a lasting impact through her leadership and service.
