Linda D. Moten, MIS, has established a distinguished career at the intersection of financial services and technology, bringing more than three decades of experience in process improvement, digital transformation, and financial education. As the owner and sole proprietor of 7 Financial Solutions, she provides consulting and education services designed to help individuals and families achieve long term financial stability.
Through 7 Financial Solutions, Ms. Moten offers guidance in life insurance, retirement planning, and health coverage, while also helping clients navigate technology driven solutions that improve efficiency and accessibility. Her approach combines financial expertise with technical resourcefulness, enabling clients to better understand and manage their financial futures.
Ms. Moten earned a Master of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the same institution in 2007. In 2024, she obtained her Life, Health, and Annuity License, along with Anti Money Laundering Certification, further strengthening her capabilities within the financial services sector.
Throughout her career, Ms. Moten has demonstrated a strong ability to streamline processes and implement innovative solutions. She developed a comprehensive knowledge guide to transition manual processes into digital systems, improving efficiency for employees and organizations. Her work has supported educators, administrators, and leadership teams by enabling self service software integration, online request systems, and effective project management for both remodeling and new construction initiatives. She also contributed to financial management and departmental merger efforts at UT Southwestern.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Moten is committed to community engagement, contributing to organizations such as the Dallas Black Dance Theater, the AT&T Performing Arts Center, and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys poetry and bird watching. Looking ahead, Ms. Moten plans to expand financial literacy initiatives within her community by offering outreach programs at local recreation centers, libraries, and small businesses. She is dedicated to sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and helping others avoid financial challenges while building sustainable futures.
