 Dr. Zaidman earned a Bachelor of Science in sociology from Queens College in New York and went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a fellowship in corneal and external diseases at the University of Pittsburgh Eye and Ear Institute, where he further refined his subspecialty expertise.

A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Zaidman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology and maintains membership in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. His work continues to reflect a commitment to advancing specialized eye care and supporting patients facing complex vision challenges.

Dr. Zaidman honors the legacy of mentors who shaped his professional journey, including the late James F. X. O’Rourke, MD, and Joseph Walsh, MD, as well as Stuart Brown, MD, and Bartley Monzino, MD, whose guidance helped influence his dedication to clinical excellence.
