Dr. Faith W. Ngunjiri is a respected leadership professor, coach, author, and speaker whose work has shaped the growth, confidence, and leadership capacity of leaders across industries for more than two decades. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to helping women navigate complex professional environments, overcome internal barriers, and lead with clarity, resilience, and purpose.
Through her work as a leadership educator and executive coach, Dr. Ngunjiri supports emerging and established women leaders during pivotal moments of transition and transformation. Her approach is grounded in a deep understanding of challenges such as self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and limiting beliefs that often restrict leadership advancement. By addressing both personal development and organizational dynamics, she equips leaders with the tools needed to influence effectively and lead authentically.
Dr. Ngunjiri holds a doctorate in leadership and two master’s degrees in organizational development and theology. She has taught at both undergraduate and graduate levels since 2006; her last tenured faculty position was at Concordia College, Minnesota, from 2013 to 2022. Currently, she is an adjunct dissertation advisor at Abilene Christian University. Her academic career has been marked by rigorous scholarship and a dedication to mentoring future leaders.
As an author, Dr. Ngunjiri published Women’s Spiritual Leadership in Africa: Tempered Radicals and Critical Servant Leaders, a work that examines leadership through cultural, spiritual, and social lenses. Her research and thought leadership have earned her numerous distinctions, including recognition as a Distinguished Scholar from the International Leadership Association and a Research Award from Concordia College.
Beyond academia, Dr. Ngunjiri is actively engaged in global leadership development initiatives. She has served on the boards of local organizations, including United Way and the Jeremiah Program, in Fargo/Moorhead. She maintains professional affiliations with Rotary International and Executive Connect in Kenya, reflecting her commitment to leadership that impacts both Africa and the international community. Her work continues to influence leaders across borders through coaching, keynote speaking, and leadership training.
